Step 1: Iyengar yoga to reduce varicose veins:
Sit sideways on the chair, and raise both legs onto the handle of the chair. Move your bottom into the chair and slowly start moving until your shoulders touch the blocks. Your chin should lock onto your chest. Stretch your toes out and close your eyes.

Variation — Get your toes together and allow your knees and thighs to roll out. Hold this position for at least 7 to 8 minutes. Hold for at least 5 minutes. To come out of the asana, keep your feet flat on the wall, press the bolster, wiggle back a bit, cross your legs on the bolster, chin down towards your chest, hug your knees, roll over to the right side, and come up.
